I was checking out the bleacher report, and they have us picking Blaine Gabbert number one. That's not cool, but I am telling you that I fully believe that if we pick Gabbert, it will be the right choice. That is based purely in my confidence in our staff. I would feel the same if we picked Locker number one, even though there would be a few more questions someone would have to answer. Either way, it got more interesting as it went along.
The BR mock draft has PP7 going to SF. I don't see him lasting that long. It also has Cam going to the Titans at #8. Yeah, I don't see him getting past them if he lasts that long. They say the DOlphins get Mark Ingram, but I could see the Patriots trading their 20-something pick, and pik 33, to move up to 14 and take Mark ingram. Add ingram to last year's Patriots, and you might have Brady's 5th trip to the superbowl. Kaepernick is supposed to go to the Cards at #38. Do you guys think he's better than Dalton or Stanzi? And we get Drake Nevis, DT, LSU, at 65. Anybody ever heard of him? Then we get Edmond Gates, WR, Abilene Christian, at 97. I doubt this pick. I have no idea who he is, but I don't see the point of drafting a receiver at all. We have Smitty, Gettis, LaFell, Edwards, Clowney, Shockey, Barnidge, King and Rosario, plus D-Will, Stew, and Goodson. We have enough guys to catch the ball.
I won't name the rest of our picks because I'm too lazy to go through the rest of the slides. Hope I didn't ruin the suspense of another guesser's mock draft, but either way, can you tell me who is better of the non top-3 QBs, and who is Drake Nevis? Thanks!!!
