Can the players awaiting this April's draft work out with NFL players that are doing player organized workouts. If they are locked it is there anything preventing them from this type of activity? What would prevent players from Carolina asking Blaine Gabbert and Cam Newton from coming out and tossing passes and doing 7 on 7 drills (nfl players only).  I am not sure what the rules are with this i can't find anything that would prevent this type of thing from taking place without a CBA.....

...so i what i am asking is are there rules in place to prevent that...What would prevent the Panthers players calling Cam Newton and Blaine Gabbert up and running some 7 on 7 drills? Is there anything outside of the CBA that would prevent this type of activity?..this is my question really. IF not wouldn't it be a good idea as players to go do "workouts" and ask those guys to come "workout" with them to find out more of a feel for them. And then make a "phone call to someone" giving their take on the situation.

You can imagine what else players could do if they could get away with this..hmm
