Do the CSR Community have a dog in the fight?

via www.sportsfanhome.com

I feel that being a franchise and fan base based in the Carolinas we would be at least slightly remiss if we didn't take a second to talk about the UNC v. Duke basketball game tonight in Durham.

I've always felt that Jerry made a very wise decision going for the electric blue as it falls conveniently in the spectrum between Carolina and Duke blue; meanwhile I get the feeling our fans in South Carolina could really care less, instead biding their time until DE Jadaveon Clowney decides between USC and Clemson. Regardless of whether you hate Duke, hate Carolina or dislike them both, I feel you have to respect the vitriol of this rivalry which is so often compared to Yankees v. Red Sox or Celtics v. Lakers in terms of national rivalries.

The rivalry is pure, unbridled hatred... and nothing is off limits. Whether it was Duke's university newspaper making light of legendary coach Dean Smith's senility in an 'off the record' letter which magically made its way to Deadspin, or UNC attacking what they perceive to be a history of less than glamorous cheerleaders there are few occasions in sports that divide an entire state the way UNC and Duke does.

So, CSR community... do you care about the rivalry game tonight?
