There was plenty to be happy about for Panther fans in this one. But it all starts with rookie QB Cam newton and his record setting day. Newton was deadly in the red zone as he kept it simply, scoring three touchdowns on the ground and throwing for a fourth. Truly a day for the rookie to celebrate little as the Panthers string two in a row.

I would be remiss to not mention the defense and the fact they held the Bucs to FGs on 4 drives and and more importantly held LeGarette Blount to 19 yards on 11 carries. DE Charles Johnson had a big day with a sack, 3 tackles for a loss, a pass defensed and a QB hurry. The defensive line played pretty good as a whole keeping pressure on back-up QB Josh Johnson.
