The Sporting News contacted one NFL player from each of NFL team, minus Carolina and Denver for obvious reasons, and asked that player which of these two QBs will have the most wins in their career. I've sure nobody on CSR is surprised by the results:

Cam Newton: 25 votes

Tim Tebow: 5 votes

I absolutely love some of the comments captured from the Pro-Newton players:

"Newton. He’s a way better player. Much, much better. Cam’s like 10 times better. Cam’s only going to get better. He’s scary as it is right now." — NFC offensive player

'Scary good right now'..hee hee. Now from an AFC player:

"Newton is a more versatile quarterback. He can be a pocket passer and a dual threat as a runner as well. He’s a big body, better athlete. Those are all things I see early in a young player. But I definitely think Cam Newton has the tool set to be a better, more successful quarterback." — AFC offensive player

To be fair I'll put a Pro-Tebow comment up....after the divine jump...;)

"I pick Tebow. I believe in the guy. I think he’s a winner. He’s gonna do everything it takes, no matter what it is, whether it’s running it, throwing it—he’s going to do everything it takes to win that ballgame. I’m a believer. I’m sold. (But) I do like Cam. Sold? Maybe this player wants to buy some beach front property in Iowa. One more that is really grounded in facts:

"Tebow. It just seems that’s the way his life trend is going, man." — NFC defensive player

So he has a better life trend than Newton? All I can do is laugh at this one...
