I hear this question far to often and it's beginning to irritate me. I constantly hear people complain about how our running game sucks and that we aren't the running team that we use to be. I have trying explaining it to people that our rushing numbers don't look very sexy because they are split nearly evenly 3 ways. In order to properly examine our rushing attack I decided to look up some of our statistics and they are even better than I though Below are some of the impressive numbers that we have.
Total Yards Rushing: 2,244 (3rd in the NFL)
Number of Fumbles: 3 (Tied for 2nd)
Yards Per Carry: 5.3 (1st)
Total Rushing TDs: 25 (1st)
Rushing First Downs: 130 (1st)
First Down Percentage: 30.9% (1st)
Runs Over 20 Yards: 22 (1st)
If any one thinks we need help with our running game they are insane.
