This post has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the Panthers...

Is it just me, or isn't this supposed to be a specialized blog dedicated to everything Panthers?

This question comes to me because the last two Fanposts have had absolutely no connection to the Carolina Panthers. Actually, they have no connection to anything even football related! The first was dedicated to funny web videos, and the second was one blogger's issue with a video game.

While I have no problem with posts like Ben Swanson's on Rufus on Fire (asking for bloggers to vote for him for a blogging scholarship), I take issue when CSR becomes a forum saturated with posts that are irrelevant to the purpose of the blog. Honestly, I don't want to check in for Panther news and to discuss Panther topics, to be bombarded with irrelevant posts about video games and comedy.

Hey, I like video games. And I like funny web videos as well. But I don't like CSR becoming a blase forum for anything that crosses bloggers' minds. The problem with allowing them, is the problem of the slippery slope. If you allow these two irrelevant posts, what's to stop another blogger from posting personal issues? If I notice that he's doing it, then I might be inclined to do so as well. Can we just nip this in the bud?

What do ya'll think CSR? Should we allow non-Panther and non-Football related posts?
