CSR Sunday Night Football Open Thread
We've got the Bears at Lambeau Field to play the Packers in what seems like the Packers weekly prime time game. If this game was in Chicago I might think the Bears would have a chance but...
How about those Panthers?

I wonder if Julius Peppers decides to try tonight.
If so, with Buloga out he could have a good game.

Ugh
Bears came out with a great defensive gameplan, I saw very little Cover 2. Rodgers is just too good…..plus putting Roach on Finley was a bad idea.
Life is what you make it brothers....
Which McCown did we have last year?

Bear Down (I think that's their chant...)!
I actually got a Dick Butkus jersey for Christmas, so I’m wearing that with pride right now.

If you coulf have anyone in this game on our roster, who would you take?
I’m taking BJ Raji’s fat ass.

Yeah BJ Raji without a doubt.
Or maybe Charles Woodson or Tramon Williams.

I considered Woodson but he's getting up there.
Maybe Lance Briggs but Raji way before him.

I would raji, Greg J, Burnett( who can actually make
tackles better than Martin). Mason C, who doesn’t choke on field as much as night-mare.

I'm just sayin'......we could trade him for multiple first rounders.

Why? Newton has been amazing in year one.
You couldn’t exactly stash him away on the practice squad.

For a game tomorrow?
Give me Woodson or Greg Jennings, for the next five years? Raji and Tramon Williams

I would take...
Peppers. Just so I could sit his ass… (if salary cap not an issue).

I'm feeling back for the bears, once a playoff
contender to potentially fall out of contention. How do your gm not have a back up invade your starting Qb goes down? Being cheap by not signing a quality Wr, etc.

That might be the best graphic they've ever shown - 15 vs 2 QBs.

Tough play by McCown on that FR.

McCown has had a hell of a start to this game all things considered.

Big win for the Panthers yesterday!
My Dolphins ALMOST beat the Pats, but came up short… once again.
I need your help. There is a big discussion brewing on The Phinsider these days about the potential of Matt Moore. Some say that he is/can be a franchise QB and that the Dolphins need to address other positions in the draft. Others, like me, say that while he has shown some potential, we cannot bank on him and need to draft a QB in the first, even if it means trading up to get one. Give me some perspective on Moore please. Anything will be appreciated.

Hate to say it, but Matt's never gonna be more than JAG
Game manager at best – and tends to lead his wide out on seam routes into safeties. Got Steve Smith’s arm broken a couple of years ago, and I saw him do it to a couple of your guys this year, too.
He could be a stop gap, but doesn’t have the apparent arm strength to stretch the field, and certainly wouldn’t be considered “elusive”.

Yeah he rainbows everything deep like Delhomme used to.

Matt Moore = Jake Delhomme without the charisma.
I wouldn’t call that a franchise QB, but I guess he nearly won a SB….
"Nah, you look like Elijah Wood." - danmerqury
Matt Moore is a choke artist
When the game matters he sucks, when its garbage time he plays well.
Its actually pretty damn frustrating.

Like others have said
You’d probably be better off drafting a QB. He’s good when he’s in a no-pressure situation. He came in for Delhomme a couple years ago when we were out of contention and played great, like he’s doing for you guys. But last year when he got his chance to play when it counted, he struggled. He’s a great backup, but I definitely wouldn’t call him a franchise QB.

Matt may be able to hold the position for a year or two
And you may be able to sneak in a wild card, but for the long haul you’re better off drafting one. The good part about having Moore is you won’t be desperate for one.

With the right supporting cast
And I mean the right supporting cast, Matt Moore can be a solid Franchise QB in the NFL.

The book is out on the Packers it seems. The Bears have dominated this game.

Its been pretty bad all year.
It doesn’t matter when your offense puts up damn near 40 points every game.

Because the usually manage to hold up early and get a lead.
Then the opposing team just can’t hold back from throwing. They’ve actually given up an average of something like 4.7 yard per rush, so I agree it would be a good strategy, but you have to hang with them early and then stick with the run late. Very few teams have the discipline to stick with the run once behind.

They'd stopped them on D too.....although obviously not anymore.

I hate Aaron Rodgers.
I’m in the Championship game and my lead is going away way too fast. I’m done and he has Rodgers and Gonzalez left. I think I’m bringing home the silver. It was my first year though.

How does Jordy Nelson constantly get behind every defence?

Thanks for the responses guys
I actually just posted a fanpost about it to get a broader spectrum of opinions. I’m sure you can imagine just how divisive this issue can be and it’s developing into some heated arguments on the Dolphins site.

Jaxon, you're gonna have to delete that asshole hourly.
Unless we can get his email and DOS him off the web, he’ll SPAM this site until nobody wants to visit it anymore.
I have to watch something else,
Did not look like a Pro NFL game. QB and OC were Horrible. Defense? Peppers? Chicago is going down.
