Yes im a jets fan but

You guys got the rookie of the year. The biggest thing about that is that its a QB.

Me and my Dad love cam newton even though im a jets fan and hes a giants fan. Whenever our games are on different times,we watch the panthers ( if there isnt another big game for our playoff hopes on ). We love Cam Newton,he can throw and run. I think hes the next Michael Vick if not better. But i would also love to see the Panthers actually close out their games. They have had WAY too many early leads that have been blown. What i think you guys need is a defense.

I have seen what your GM has done, and hes pretty crappy in my opinion. He didnt do ANY good moves for the panthers, he always tries to "save" his money. He doesnt spend anything on free agents,and he doesnt know how to do a good draft. One more WR,i mean you already have one of the best in the NFL. So if you got another one for Cam,then thats the offense. Maybe Trent Richardson in the draft so you can have 2 very young,talented people: A QB and an RB.

A defense is also pretty big, if you can get some pass defense then thats pretty good. Ever since you guys loss Julius Peppers, your defense hasnt had any very good people. I want to see you guys do good in the draft, and how about a new GM?

Cam has truly surprised me…. I wasn’t expecting to come out and throw for 400 yards in his 1st NFL game

We do need defense though (hoping we get Claiborne or Z. Brown this year) We don’t realy need a WR or RB, Deangelo Williams and Jonathan Stewart don’t get used enough….

As for are GM situation he’s made some great decisions and bad decisions….. He’s drafted some true stars and made a steal of a trade in getting Greg Olsen for a 3rd round pick…

If you don’t mind me asking do you believe Sanchez can lead yall to a superbowl or do you like him as your franchise QB?

Thanks for the kind words about Cam but the rest was pretty inaccurate. Last thing we need is another RB…Stew and Dwill are more studs. Laffell is coming on strong and i think Gettis will thrive in this offense. At this point we got to fix the holes in the defense and wait for our stars to come back healthy. Beason in the middle will do wonders for our LB core. Add a CB and some depth and we will be just fine…Playoffs in 2012 if all goes well…

I think it's a young kid talking. My guess is he's not following closely.

My advice for your Jets would be to write your GM a letter and tell him that championships aren’t won through free agency or trading away draft picks for players like Braylon Edwards and Antonio Cromartie. I would argue the Holmes trade was excellent. However, your team won’t make it to that elite level if you keep this up. See the Redskins, Raiders and Eagles for more examples.

No defense?

The Panthers have one defensive end who is outplaying that fella who left to play in Chicago.
The “other guy” is leading the league in deflected passes.
Did you check the stats for what defense is tops in safeties lately?
For a defense with two first round draft picks and three starting tackles on injured reserve, (and a BUNCH of linebackers), not too shabby.

and as for signing big name Free Agents, That’s just not the MO of this organization.

Sanchez, i like the guy. He has fun in the clubhouse. but on a scale of 1-10, he is a 5.5. You guys have a way better QB then us. But i dont think he is a “sanchise” i just made this name after the draft.
