I saw this on a different blog and thought it might be nice to do the same thing here. Power rankings and descriptions from various sources.
ESPN - 24 - The Panthers are gaining and allowing more yards per play than any team in franchise history. (Sando)
NFL - 24 - Cam Newton will learn. The two second-half interceptions sealed the Panthers' fate, particularly the Brett Farvian flip to Mike Peterson. Once again, that's life with a rookie playmaker at quarterback. Interesting that DeAngelo Williams only got seven carries Sunday, considering the explosiveness he showed on a 74-yard touchdown run in the first half. For now, the Panthers are still platooning their backs, despite Williams' monster contract.
Yahoo Sports - 25 - It's not Olindo Mare's fault team blew a 16-point halftime lead.
SB Nation - 26 - Cam Newton is incredible. Getting Newton acclimated was the big goal this year so consider that mission accomplished, despite the record.
CBS Sports - 26 - They have so many issues on defense that even a big lead isn't safe, which they learned against the Falcons. They need a draft and free agency to fix that side of the ball.
Pro Football talk - 23 - The Panthers could be a serious contender in 2012.
First time I ever did this, do I need to post the links to every site? and let me know if you want me to start doing this every week.
