For once this season the injury report favors the Panthers. The Falcons will likely be without both starting CBs including Brent Grimes who has been ruled out. You might remember it was Grimes who was responsible for tipping a Cam Newton pass that was picked in the end zone in the Panthers loss to the Falcons earlier this season. Kelvin Hayden is likewise doubtful for the game with a toe injury. This all spells good news for the Panthers passing game.
For the Panthers the only questionable player (not on IR that is) is LT Jordan Gross. KR Kealoha Pilares and TE Greg Olsen both look ready to go. Of course this doesn't take into consideration the Panthers just put both DTs on IR this past week. The Panther defense will have its work cut out for it with the Falcon offense.
