regarding PantherTrain

Ignorance, the root and stem of all evil.

- Plato

I wanted to start this quote because it's perfect of the situation.... I think most people are fed up with PantherTrain's opinions (which border on knowledge and ignorance), to the point where they begin cursing and associating his name with inaccuracy (and perhaps, much worse traits).

In no way does this quote imply that PantherTrain's ignorance breeds any evil of his own-doing...

But I do feel that his ignorance breeds evil of other people's doing. The responses have become increasingly hostile, violent, and brutal. No names, no examples, no details. We should all know that PantherTrain has received much harassment (in some circumstances, nearly justified).

Sometimes, however, the dude does bring up some good ideas. He said that the Panthers should consider the triple option (which we did see today), and a good rebuttal was that we don' t need our franchise rookie quarterback to be open to those sort of hits. But what if D-Will were wildcatting, and he had Newton to one side, Stew to the other, and optioned to Stew? I think there's some valid ideas in this idea...

Then again, the dude brings up some atrocious ideas. These are the ones I want us to consider. At least eight people will reply to these, three of whom are well-known around the community. I think it's time we ignore these comments, and make it so that our ignorance stems good (i.e. no responses of hatred).

This really has gotten to be a problem, PantherTrain and the cult of community people that vilify him and his ideas. Whether we agree or not, that does not entitle us to disrespect the dude. We all want to educate him, and hopefully this thread is the beginning of him paying attention to what we say, rather than all of caring so much, and paying so much attention to what he says. Seriously, if his ideas are so terrible (which seems to be a resilient opinion of the community), then why do we give them so much attention? Myself included in all of this, I carry just as much blame!! I, too, am terribly guilty of disrespecting him! :(

After a good Panthers win, I think it's time to put the losses and the PantherTrain behind us. Let's get ready for the Buccaneers!
