CSR Fantasy Sleeper of the Week: Panthers vs Colts
So let's see, I pick Panthers as my sleeper and they instead suck or even have their worst game of the year. I pick a player from the other team and he scores the 2nd TD of the season (and his career). So I think I'm going back to picking the Panthers because I think it's a safe week to do that. This week I'm going with a guy that shouldn't be a sleeper at any point of the season but considering I picked him up on waivers in one of my leagues this past week, I think he qualifies:
Fantasy Sleeper of the Week: RB DeAngelo Williams
I can see the Panthers getting an early lead in this one and then turning to double trouble to run the clock. Shoot, we might see Josh Vaughan in this one. But not before Williams racks up 120 yards and 2 TD's as he goes for 6 on two long runs.
Jonathan Stewart is also a good option but probably a little more obvious since he is the true dual threat rushing & receiving.
I have to say though this game does worry me. The Colts have to feel this is their best chance to win this season and avoid the 0-16 collar. They can win a game and still secure the #1 pick so considering its a home game too I think they will be inspired. Will that be enough to beat the Panthers and their Cam-powered offense? Which streak will end today, the Colts 0-12 losing streak or the Panthers 11 game road losing streak?

Fantasy
i dont know about panthers. it could be any number of players. one thing i do know. pick whose starting at rb for indy. every week. we make rb for other team look like ap. we will fix defense but not this season. wait till next year, grim and bear it.or put another way, bend down and grab your ankles.like fox used to say, IT IS WHAT IT IS.
Actually no, I’m not worried about this game one bit. Bad teams can’t just decide suddenly to turn it on and start winning games because they are want to win. Even if they do try to win this one it won’t happen.
Painter is horrible, they are ranked almost dead last in both offense or defense and the players aren’t going to play hard and risk injury with it being impossible to make it in the playoffs.
The only thing that worries me about this game is we will only win by 4-7 points and not a blow out. We NEED to win this game by double digits to prove we aren’t a bottom feeder along with the Colts.
If its close and we only win by 4 or 5 points that will be very disappointing.

They were
Within 7 points of the Bucks, Chiefs, and the Steelers so it’s not out of the realm of possibility that this game ends up closer than we’d like. You are right bad teams are bad teams. But remember, at this point we’re one of them. We seem to find a way to loose every week. Are we a better team than the Colts? Absolutely, but no game in the NFL is a lock.

Oh and for my fantasy sleeper pick, Brandon Lafell. I expect him to have a huge day and just might solidify his number 2 WR spot.

jaxon, ilke your pick but i think there will be too much sharing in backfield. i think it will be the little man [smitty]. 150 yds. 2 tds. if we can blow somebody out, this should be it. i dont want to see cam trying to force the ball. let the game come to you. there will be plenty of oppotunities in this game. if we dont blow them out, hey, a win is a win.and we can definetly use one
Smitty doesn't
Qualify as a sleeper. We expect him to have a big game.

The Colts have a terrible run defense
It is a safe pick, and probably the smart one as well. DeAngelo doesn’t get enough touches to be truly great as a fantasy option anymore and he does not score many TDs due to the Cam/J-Stew combo at the goal line. One thing is for damn sure though…D-Will can burn some Colts.
