Naturally, as die hard fans, coming off a 30-3 loss to a mediocre team at best springs talks of the upcoming draft(I'm guilty of it as bad as anyone on here); however there is football left to be played, and believe it or not, a lot to be excited about.....
. 1.) We get to see Cam in action. Every week, he is able to, at some point in the game, have us shaking our heads in astonishment. The thing about it is, he's wearing a Panthers uniform. It will also be fun to see how he is able to perform against arguably the best defensive line in the league, and an underrated Louis Delmas, a very solid, ball hawking safety. #caamwoahcaaaam
2.) GAMBLE VS. MEGATRON. This year, Gamble has performed at an extremely high level, and has managed to shut down some of the premier receivers in the game (Jennings, Fitzgerald, Colston). But, his biggest test this year will come at Ford Field on Sunday against one, Calvin Johnson aka Megatron. He leads the league in receiving TD's and is third behind Smitty and Wes Welker for the lead in receiving yards. There's going to be a lot of exciting jump balls that we will probably see Gamble lose; nonetheless, the match-up is intriguing.
3.) LET'S WIN THE DAMN GAME. I really want to see this young group get a big win on the road against a REALLY good team, as does every Panther fan. It would be a huge confidence builder moving forward. I know a lot of people are worried about the injuries, Bell vs. Vanden Bosch/Avril matchup, Calvin Johnson, but what about OUR guys? This team is talented and can beat anybody in this league. Remember, Smitty, Cam, The Kraken, CJ95, Dwill, JStew, Olsen, and Shockey are all wearing OUR uniform. LET'S GO GET 'EM!
How do you see the Detroit game playing out?
