Injuries: We know LB Jason Phillips is out due to a calf injury. LB James Anderson is questionable..

However, head coach Ron Rivera said today there's "reason for optimism" regarding Anderson's availability against the Titans. Anderson's status will be re-evaluated again Saturday. The injury news wasn't as good for running back Mike Goodson, who is doubtful with a lingering hamstring issue. Also, linebacker Jason Phillips has been ruled out Sunday due to a calf injury.

Otherwise we are good to go. Word is if the Panthers get low on LB's DE Antwan Applewhite would move to DE. Let's hope it doesn't come to that.

Keys to Victory for the Panthers:

1 - QB Cam Newton must protect the ball

2 - The defense must limit RB Chris Johnson and his big plays
