Panthers QB Cam Newton was added to the injury report this morning but is probable and will play Sunday.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Carolina Panthers rookie quarterback Cam Newton was added to the team's injury report Saturday as probable after developing stiffness in his right throwing shoulder.

He later had an MRI that via Joe Person on Twitter was said to be 'good':

Yes. Had MRI late in the week. Results were normal. RT@beardsonfire @josephperson Some guy said Cam had an MRI, any truth to that?

So our young phenom is feeling a little sore after eight weeks but he is good to go Sunday. No luck for the Titans!
