Please let me start by saying I am basing this on nothing more then a gut feeling I get when I read his interviews and from the little I know about how his defense played in Philly and how it seems to be shaping up here so far in Carolina the same way
. First any interview I have read of his it seems he is always making excuses for the performance and pointing out what went right and playing down any issues. To me that sets an air of complacency for the defense. I believe RR, when in SD would not handle it with the same" well lets look at the sunny side of the street" attitude.
Secondly, the team seems to be showing some of the same tendency as his defense in Philly. I believe Meeks has done a good job considering what he was given to work with, but so far I have to say I wonder if this defense will catch up to this eye popping offense anytime soon.
Please set me straight and give me hope. Tell me he does not have the right pieces yet, or tell me the injuries are a big factor, and most of all tell me my gut feeling about his excuse making is wrong.
