Panthers Keep Getting Better
Our Panthers keep getting better, but they have a long way too go. The Running game came alive, the passing game is still alive. The Quarter Back does not get sacked easily. Superman looks like superman again (with the 89 where the S used to be). The offensive line is gelling. The secondary is making some plays. We are getting to the oppositions quarterback. Yes, we are getting better.
But we have a long way to go. We can not stop the run for a full game. We do it on some series, but not all, and not when it is critical. We give up way too many big plays. We stop too few 3rd and short and way too few 3rd and long. We throw to Naanee and Goodson on the big plays. What is that? We have Smith, Stuart, Williams, Olson, Shockey, and Newton. How are Naanee and Goodson even options on 3rd and 4th down in the last 5 minutes against Arizona and Chicago?
We will keep getting better. The coaches and Quarterback will move Lafell ahead of Naanee in the lineup. Gettis will come back or Pilares or Edwards will step up, or will will get somebody new next year. The Rookies will keep getting better and actually stop the run all game long by the end of the year, or we will draft someone better. Gamble and Butler may be the answer, or we will draft someone better. The special teams will become special, or we will fire the coach and hire someone better. And the team will keep getting better. We are already to the point that we would crush last years team.
We have a long way to go, but we are getting better.

Lol, we would destroy last year's team.

I think Butler would man handle us.

We could have taken Butler's JV
at least 6 out of 10 times

So who else thinks that this would be a sexy WR core?
1- Steve Smith
2- Justin Blackman
3- David Gettis
4- Brandon Lafell
5- Armanti Edwards
5- Kealohu Pilarez
I know we have other needs and who knows who we will draft but doesnt that hypothetical give you a wiggle? especially with Cam throwing them the ball
eliminate
Armanti Edwards. I’m tired of the “Edwards Experiment.” Trade him, drop him, or just change his position. I could be wrong, but I don’t think he’ll ever be a true threat as a WR. Remember how long we waited for Dwayne Jarrett to develop? Drew Carter anyone? I don’t want to waste 3 more years on a guy who can’t even crack on the ST as returner. Just my opinion though.
Blissfully ignorant!!!
Some people just can’t help themselves. . . wish some of these folks new anything at all about football. . . . sure would be nice!!!!
