Another Question/ Poll
If you guys can't tell i love asking questions :).
But in all seriousness The Tampa Bay Bucs (Yes i know i don't wanna mention them) are incredibly thin at RB. After Ernest Graham was placed on IR. They are now using there Practice Squad RB and a banged up LeGarrette Blount.
I think you guys know where i'm going with this. Mike Goodson. Our 3rd String RB could very likely be a 2nd or Possibly even a 1st string RB on another team.
IF we were bound to trade him what do you think he would be worth? And would you trade him?
Also i would like to know everyone's reasons on why or why not.
(Edit: I just realized that the trade deadline has passed. But i still want to debate over this.)

I wouldn't trade him..
And certainly not to the Bucs. That’s a fate worse than death.

I think he's worth a 2nd
in temrs of talent he is worth a 2nd round pick IMO. But i doubt we could get more than a 3rd. He is the 3rd string RB, he has hardly played this year (or at all in his career, relatively speaking). Now if he started a whole year and put up good numbers (I could see him with 1200 rushing yards and 500 receiving yards with a full load) then we could get a 2nd for him, maybe a little more. But right now his trade value isnt equal to his ability and talent. I would take a 3rd if offered. He just isnt worth a whole lot to us since we have 2 great RBs and we could easily get a replacement 3rd RB (Sutton).
What we SHOULD have done
Is let Deangelo walk (or take a paycut) and at some point sign Stewart and Goodson to extensions. Ask again after the season about trading him, one injury could mean a huge difference in his value to us
their GM would have to be really freaking stupid to trade for anything more than like a 5th rounder
3rd string RB, fumble problems, shown flashes of brilliance (not the same as actual brilliance) and their GM/owner is not Al Davis reincarnated
At best you could bring back a 5th rounder. A possible 4th rounder depending on how many snaps he plays, carriers/ rushing yards he gets etc.

Wouldn't trade him
The Bucs wouldn’t be interested. Graham will be back next year, and Blount will be back soon. If they think they need another one, to be a back-up, they would probably draft one in the middle rounds. I would get rid of D-Will before I got rid of Goodson. We could get more for him, and it would free up more cap space. Stew could get 20 touches a game, and Goodson 5-10, and we’d be fine. If we were going to run the ball 30 times a game, I’d keep D-Will, but he gets paid too much to only get 10 carries a game. He’s worth the money we pay him, but we are choosing not to use him.
