Jeff Otah Has Been Downgraded To Questionable & Other NFL News

RotoWorld has just reported that Panthers ROT Jeff Otah has been downgraded to questionable (just for today's game, not for his career, as some might suspect). J Pep is probably thrilled that he might be playing against rookie OT Byron Bell, overlooking the great job Bell did against the Packers Clay Matthews.

The Patriots seconday which has been an out of control wildfire so far this season, allowing the most passes over 20 yards in the NFL, will be without their 2 their top 3 CB's (8 year vet Leigh Bodden and rookie Ras-I dowling) out, and their 4th CB Kyle Arrington questionable against the Raiders this week - RotoWorld & NFL Network.

ESPN's K. C. Joyner, reports that the "Titans run blockers have only provided a favorable blocking situation 29% of the time" this season - RotoWorld. That's why RB Chris Johnson is off to such a poor start, often getting hit 2 or 3 yards deep in the backfield. This Problem started last season, when the Titans "blackballed" their 2009 Pro Bowl C out of the league, because he was the players union president, replacing him with 3rd year backup Leroy Harris. Harris had been their backup C/G, but for some reason they dicided to start him at LG, and move their good starting LG (Eugene Amano) to C, wher he stunk. Harris' play last season made Bernadeau look like an All-Pro, but for some reason they decided to re-sign him as a free agent this year, and keep starting him, to even worse results. I guess it helps to have your O-Line coach promoted to HC.
