My local talent is:
Damon Magazu - SS - East Carolina University
The first time I saw this player was at ECU's first home football game this season Vs Virginia Tech, after that performance I decided that he was a player worth keeping an eye on. He has decent size at 5'11 199 and about average athletic ability for the position. Twice in person I have seen him make WR like catches (highest point and corner of the endzone grabs). Not only does he have great balls skills but he also has a knack for getting to the ball carrier, averaging 6 tackles per game this season. Ever time I watch him he seems to be making a play on the ball in some way or another. This Charlotte Native is in his sophomore year and is likely to grow and improve over the next year or 2.Also note worthy is that his father, Dave Magazu, was the Carolina Panthers offensive line coach for years, he recently went with Fox over to Denver this past year.
Now you tell us about any unsung heroes in your area.
