i saw where he has gone 3 straight games without 100 yards…in his career he has never gone 4. I expect a heavy dose of him Sunday. Now what happens..we will have to wait and see. If we can put up big points his impact could be nullified.

Thank you for this...
I was getting my stuff together for The Friday Five, and am going to talk about Michael Turner. This will be very useful information.

I may not always be right, but even a blind nut finds a squirrel every once in a while.
Good stuff PR
Our LB’s better be ready to tackle but I would feel better if the DT’s simply plugged the holes.
Falcon offense has struggled but will be assuming they can cure their ills against the Panthers. Let’s dial up an inspired defensive effort on the road!
a well run no-huddle offense scares me at this point
Lots of stuff going against us in that scenario. We don’t have Beason on the field. Both his presence and leadership will be missed. We have a new system that hasn’t been tested against the no huddle. If Ryan gets a situation where he likes the match ups and has the momentum to prosecute his will upon them them, we may be forced to use timeouts to put a stop to it.
That said James Anderson did a good job countering Breezus last week so if he steps up again we may be okay. However, all it takes is one slip up and it’s a TD so I’m gonna be extra nervous when I see the diry birds hurrying to the LoS.
Don't get your hopes up Panthers' fans.
Michael Turner does most of his feasting on bad run defenses, and right now, we are a bad run defense. Our only hope is stacking the box and doing a lot of man coverage on the outside. Tony Gonzalez worries me.
We did a good job against a good NO run offense
I have more faith in our Run D which is getting better by the week than in our secondary which cannot seem to shut down a pass catching TE. Since Jones is out, though, that may help.
Frankly our ST scares me more than anything, those guys shit the bed every week one way or the other.

Both good points manu! At this point on STs, I'm just hoping for boring -- no turnovers and NO PENALTIES, AHHHHHHHH
I also concur in the assessment that our run defense is maturing. It takes time to establish the chemistry to just GO BALLS TO THE WALL AND KILL WHOEVER HAS THE FREAKING FOOTBALL. GO ALL RAY-RAY ON THEIR ASS…AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
So much to be done, and so few people willing to do it for me.
We kind of felt the same way about Chicago's rungame, IIRC.
Frankly Turner scares the hell out of me. Let’s take a look at what he done against us since he came to the Falcons:
2008
Game 1: 18 for 56
Game 2 24 for 117
2009
Game 1: 28 for 105
Game 2 9 for 111 (left in 2nd quarter [that’s right, 100 yards before halftime] with ankle)
2010
Game 1: 28 for 112
Game 2 17 for 67 (Snelling took a lot of his carries as they rested him for playoffs)
He has more or less had his way with our defense. And this is the worst we’ve ever been against the run.
"Between you, me and the wall here, I had a bit of a doozy myself last night. Get this: A corn-fed harvest mouse, a hooker, a nun, a Flemish peasant woman, whips, chains, whistles yo-yo's, a circus midget. My grandmother riding by on a bicycle giving me the finger, and a duck! Now, I don't know 'bout you...Are you crying?"
