After skipping a week its time to update our team rankings on offense and defense. We will compare the results after week 3 to today's ranking and see if we have any trends that stick out. If you were thinking the Panthers offense dropped as a result of the last two loses think again. Though the passing ranking dropped slightly the rushing totals

The biggest improvement is obviously the running game improvement bolstered by RB DeAngelo Williams big day against the Saints. It should be no surprise scoring is up 3 points as a consequence as well. The one anomaly is the increase in sacks per game but improvement in the ranking.
So what about the defense? Have two more losses been the result of a decline in defensive performance? Let's take a look.

The biggest deterioration in defensive performance is obviously the rush defense after getting drilled by Matt Forte. though they fared better against the Saints it was still less than needed to win.
