So, unfortunately for the Raiders, clause's in Nnamdi Asomugha's contract release him from the Raiders, allowing him to become a free agent. Just as Peppers was the top free agent target last year, Asomugha will probably acquire the same position this offseason. For a team releasing it's starting CB Richard Marshall and benching their other top corner, the Panthers should definitely make a run at him. It'd probably take a pretty penny to get Asomugha here, however the Panthers should have enough money to pony up to acquire him if they covet him.
