Here is my first mock draft for the Panthers. I like picking BPA regardless of position. Of course, things will change as we get combine results and more information. I'm not exactly sure at this point the exact number of the picks, so going by round...........Welcome your comments
Round 1 Nick Fairley---DT--Auburn--Amazing TFL in the tough SEC and a physical aggressive player Rivera should love.
Round 3 Curtis Brown--CB--Texas--Very good cover corner with size.
Round 3--Kendall Hunter---RB--Oklahoma State--Best running back at Senior Bowl. If he's there, you've got to take him.
Round 4 Austin PettisWR--Boise State---Complete WR and will go well with LaFell, Gettis, and Smith
Round 5 James Brewer--OT--Indiana 6-6,320. Absolutely Massive
Round 6 Lee Smith-TE-Marshall 6-6,270. Gates size. Good football player. Can block and be a receiving threat.
Round 7 Nathan Enderle-Idaho-QB 6-5, 240 Along with a FA QB, to compete with Clausen and Pike for back-up role and future.
2 Def and 5 Off. Covers biggest need areas with exception of RB (don't really need) and LB (probably do have a need for another one, but not urgent)
