It was the same old song for the Panthers in their final game of the 2010 season. They couldn't pass the ball, couldn't run the ball early and watched the defense bend and break. Special teams even had a hand in this one allowing a PR TD to put the game essentially out of reach in the 1st half.
QB Jimmy Clausen finished 19 of 33 for 182 yards, a TD and INT. Yet most of those yards and the TD came in garbage time when the game was already over.
Here's my quick hits:
- The offense sucked
- Special teams sucked
- Defense sucked
The Panthers finish the 2010 season 2-14, the second worst season in franchise history. Thank goodness for 2011!
