The Majority of the Country Will Get Carolina vs. New York Giants
The wonderful 506 has released the week one announcer's assignments and coverage maps for the NFL games. The majority of the country will get to watch Carolina's first game of the season.

It's probably going to be a low scoring, boring game.
That’s odd that not all of South Carolina gets the Carolina game. Are there a lot of Atlanta fans in the low country?
stuff 'bout stuff.
Yeah, what's up with that?
Why is the home team not being shown? It’s like Thursday all over again.
If God came down on Christmas Day
I know exactly what He'd say
He'd say "Oi!" to the punks
and "Oi!" to the skins
but "Oi!" to the world and everybody wins.

I lived in Hilton Head for a short time...
And yeah, they are mostly Falcons fans. Made it hard for me NOT to get in bar fights when I was down there. =)

I think the map could be slightly off...
I live in Moncks Corner (near Charleston) and I’ve always watched Panthers games on FOX during the regular season. The only times I’ve seen Falcons games are when the Panthers play on Sunday/Monday night, or during bye weeks.
I hope they haven’t changed the local tv market rules, cause I don’t want to be stuck watching ADTHE.net all the time, lol.

Okay, I zoomed in the map and the Charleston area gets Panthers coverage
I don’t know why it looked like Charleston was in the Falcons area when the map was zoomed out, but zooming in the Charleston market will get the Panthers game, thankfully.

At least you don't live in the Bay Area
Where your forced to watch the Raiders every Sunday.
"Call me Snake"
I don't understand this...
Last year every game was on tv for me (Moncks Corner) – but now they’re saying we’re suddenly in Falcons country? WTF is up with that shit?

Disregard this comment...
After zooming in the coverage map on the link, I see that Charleston’s market is still covering the Panthers. It just looked like it was Falcons covered when the map was zoomed out for some reason. Of course, the beer could have had something to do with my mis-reading of the map…

i will be home in savannah from Aghanistan
The game is scheduled to be shown in Afghanistan, but not in Savannah!! Good thing the wife got Sunday Ticket for a homecoming gift!!
That's where I am
unfortunately my apartment building won’t allow directv as it ‘disrupts the integrity of the building.’ stupid historic district.
Beef o Bradys
Richmond Hill, great atmosphere, plenty of Panthers fans, Plenty of TV’s.
I thought they had to allow it
Isn’t there a law that says apartments have to allow access to satellite service? But maybe historic districts are exempt.

did some research
unfortunately, since i’m on the north side of the building, my dish would have to be on the roof which seems to be the only restriction to the OTARD placement laws. Foiled again!
Suckage
It’s pretty much everywhere except for where I live. Why do I have to be in ATL country

Yeah...
I get to watch the Bucs and Jags every week. Hooray!

Now that is a downer.
A Debbie Downer to be exact.

At least I get the Panthers game Week 1
and they play the Bucs week 2, so it’s not all bad. Watching Josh Freeman is quite entertaining at times, as well.
