Rumor: Panthers have placed a waiver claim to QB Trent Edwards
We will find out by the end of the day if this is true or not, but right now it seems we have made a claim along with 4 other teams to acquire released Buffalo Bills QB Trent Edwards.

Should be promoted ASAP. Good catch Tater, this will certainly shake up our QB situation in Carolina.
I imagine that this will mean the door for Tony Pike if the claim does indeed go through and we get him. I wish that we knew the waiver wire order.

It goes by the records from last season (just for the 1st 3 weeks), so we’re pretty much in the middle of the pack.
