whats next years draft class looking like for Jimmy? I think we should just barage this guy with help. I like how teams like Baltimore are helping their young QB out with talent all around, getting Boldin, TJ Housh, rookie TE Dickson, etc.....Mark Sanchez gets Holmes after having Keller, braylon, and Cotchery already....ATL added Tony G @ TE to help M. Ryan early on. Even Det added Pettrigrew and the other Johnson oppisite Calvin (and Best out of backfield)
We need to help Jimmy out or he just gonna be another Delhomme, Moore, Carr..look at Smitty and thats it. I hated Delhomme tunnel vision towards Smith, but after looking at routes our WRs run , he didnt have a choice. We need to get an every down TE (maybe Barnidge is the guy) And make a move for a Jackson, Marshall, TJ housh, etc....I understand how the Big Cat works, he doesnt like low character guys after the early franchise guys stayed in trouble, but TJ would have been great in Carolina, Boldin too.....read a post the Smitty said he wanted Boldin here so bad that he woudve paid all his moving expenses out of his own pocket...also that he doesnt wanna be the #1 WR, and would love to play slot now that hes getting older........these are comments that Smitty is putting out there trying to be nice and still get his point across, guess its not working.
i dont think laFell is a potential probowler by no means, and armanti still has to learn the position but i think will do most of his damage on wildcat/gadget plays. I've not did any research, just off the top of my head and I can't really think of anyone standing out like a Crabtree, Calvin johnson, Dez Bryant did in college. The only 2 really big names are Julio Jones , and AJ Green....and who know how they would stand in the NFL game, I would give the edge to Julio right now just based on an NFL future with his build, and catch ability.
