Hello Panther fans.
I am a member of several blogs here on SB Nation, and through my travels have encountered some interesting gameday and game week traditions. But one of the most interesting, and the most fun, is the "Hail Mary Haiku" that they do over on Rocky Top Talk, which is the Tennessee Volunteers blog site.
Basically it is a little contest to see who can come up with a witty Haiku about the Volunteers next matchup. You don't win anything for it other than some kudos, but it is a blast to create Haikus about the game and have some laughs in the process. Here on CSR, we have shown some propensity for Haiku in the past, and I think it is time to adopt the RTT idea and see if we can do just as well. After all, imitation is the highest form of flattery.
The Rules:
1. Your entry must be a Haiku! RTT allows for freeform Haiku, but in general the entries that win always follow the traditional 5-7-5 format of a haiku, which is 3 lines. 5 syllables in the first line, 7 in the second, and 5 in the third. It also must have something to do with the upcoming game.
2. Post your entry in the comments section, and then check back often to see other entries and "Rec" the haikus you like the most! To Rec a post, click "actions" at the bottom of the comment, then click the start next to "Rec" to give it a rec!
3. On the Friday before the game, the best entries will be tallied into a poll, which is then voted on by the CSR readership. Whoever gets the most votes in the poll at gametime on Sunday morning, wins for that week!
If you guys like the idea, hopefully we can get the admins here at CSR to make this a weekly feature. Let's consider this week a trial run... Remember, come up with your best Haiku regarding the Buccs game!

Hate it! Can we just focus on football please? (3 votes)
Haiku? Sounds like just another way for our O-Line to draw a false start penalty. (11 votes)
