After watching 3 games and reading all I can find on the Panthers, here is my current 53-man roster. This is not a prediction of how I think Fox will pick em, but how I would pick em. I'm sure there will be differing opinions, so let's hear it.
QB--(3) Clausen, Moore, Cantwell
RB--(5) Williams, Stewart, Fiametta, Goodson, Sutton
TE--(3) King, Rosario, Barnidge
OL--(8) Gross, Wharton, Kalil, Bernadeau, Otah, Schwartz, Robinson, Williams
WR--(6) Smith, LaFell, Moore, Wright, Edwards, Gettis
DL-- (8) Brayton, Johnson, Brown, Hardy, Johnson, Tyler, Leonard, Landri
LB--(7) Beason, Connor, Anderson, Norwood, Williams, Culberson, Senn
DB--(9) Gamble, Marshall, Godfrey, Martin, Munnerlyn, Witherspoon, Pugh, Hudson, McClain
Spec--(4) Kasey, Baker, Jansen, Carter
Jarrett--The most controversial. We need WR's who can make more plays and can get YAC. That's not Jarret. I think Gettis is behind him now but has more talent and upside. And, I don't think Gettis would clear waivers for the PS. LaFell is the #2 WR. Time to move on.
Irvin--Just not good enough to break the top 4 def. tackles.
Eric Moore--Same as above for DE. 4 really good ones ahead of him.
Trent Guy--like he speed and elusiveness. Hopefully can slide him to PS.
Francisco--Just not available due to injury, and with Wright, Hudson, McClain, Witherspoon, Munnerlyn, etc. ST is okay without him.
CJ Wilson--Talented but not good enough where we have good talent
I'd like to see on the PS:
I think I'd start Moore only because of game experience, but would go to Clausen in a heartbeat (even in the first game) if Moore falters.
