Training Camp Day 10 Overview

There was only one practice today @ 3:00pm, full pads, and it was a scorcher prompting Fox to call an end to practice 20 minutes early.    DT Ed Johnson was hauled off the field due to a heat related issue, but it was only precautionary.  Here are Steve Reed's Ten Observations of the day, and Gantt's practice summary Wrapping up a hot practice.  Here are a few tweets from Gantt and Reed throughout the practice:

-carolinagrowl WRs Brandon LaFell and Wallace Wright are getting some time with the ones early in practice. Jarrett and Moore are running with the twos.

-carolinagrowl Rookie WR David Gettis just made a nice leaping grab over the middle....more after the jump...

-daringantt David Gettis climbs the ladder to catch Cantwell pass. He's come on lately. Not sure if numbers allow him a spot on the 53 though.

-daringantt Duke Robinson with ones during team run.

-daringantt Several nice catches for TE Gary Barnidge today

-daringantt For a guy running with the 3s and 4s, DT Corvey Irvin has been pretty active. He has the quickness they need inside.

-carolinagrowl Wow. Dwayne Jarrett makes a leaping grab in the end zone between CB C.J. Wilson and S Sherrod Martin

-carolinagrowl Don't see too many mistakes by LB jon Beason but he just let TE Dante Rosario go wide open down the middle for a TD. Part of learning a new position

-daringantt Kind of surprised they went full in this heat, but Fox appeared to dial it back a bit. Finishing up with some special teams now.

and finally one from Lafell...
Blafell1 BOY IM ON...    (...not sure here but I hope he's talking about his receiving game)
