Steve Smith "basically thinks Jimmy is a punk"
PFT has a story about mixed reports they're hearing regarding Clausen's performance over the weekend, and his... let's say "mixed" reception from teammates.
Hopefully this is just media blather. I suppose we'll find out more once they actually strap on pads and head down to Wofford.

I honestly believe this is media sensationalism at its best.
In other words – the article you linked is complete and utter horse shit, IMO. Whoever wrote that garbage should have their media privileges taken away for over-hyping something that really isn’t even there to begin with.
Thanks to the Denver Broncos, my sanity (what's left of it, at least) will remain intact for 2010.
PFT is usually pretty good...
but not always. They have a point of view I often disagree with, but they definitely have a lot of contacts throughout the league, so what they’re saying is something they’ve heard from someone on or associated with the team. Maybe it’s someone who is a big Moore supporter, or whatever. Not that it counts for much after one weekend. Time will tell on this one; but it’s important to remember that, even though we’re all basking in the post-draft sunshine and rose petals, a lot of the guys who play pro football have strong opinions and those might not always be reflected in the press during these happy days.

So this article refutes a report that cites unnamed sources by…citing unnamed sources.
This is what sports reporting has come to, folks.
Smith already denied this happened
Based on everything I’ve heard being to the contrary to this one article, I’m inclined to believe Smith that this article is garbage. People are trying to start crap to promote the arrogant brashness they had Clausen pegged with. I’ve heard nothing but good things otherwise.
You had me a little worried
Until I read the article and saw it was from Florio. The dude does nothing but try to stir up controversy. It’s sickening. And the last thing we need.
Good bye #43. Good luck in Chicago.
I said I'm going to keep my opinions to myself, and I will, but JUST COULD NOT RESIST
In response to Chandler’s take on the Pro Football Talk article…
So ridiculous. I’d rather listen to what Procton has too say than listen to Florio.

Still laughing.

Wow.
