I'm a start with what the depth chart should look like after training camp..
QB - Matt Moore, Jimmy Clausen, Tony Pike -- Cantwell Cut (P.S.)
FB - Tony Fiamatta
RB - 1a. DeAngelo Williams, 1b. Jonathan Stewart, Tyrelle Sutton, Daniel Porter(Surprise of camp) -- Mike Goodson cut (P.S.)
(Believe we have great wide receiver depth now)
WR1 - Steve Smith, Armanti Edwards, Wallace Wright
WR2 - Dwayne Jarrett, Brandon LaFell, David Gettis (Yall seem to have given up on DJ, but I feel like he's going to have a breakout year, 800 yards 5 touchdowns, would be great considering the dynamic runnign game we have)
TE - Jeff King, Gary Barnridge, Dante Rosario
LT - Jordan Gross
LG - Travelle Wharton
C - Ryan Kalil
RG - Mackenzy Bernadeau or possibly Duke Robinson
RT - Jeff Otah
(Believe we will address DE, DT quality depth in next year's draft)
DE - Everette Brown, Greg Hardy
DT - Tank Tyler, Louis Leonard
DT - Ed Johnson, Corey Irvin
DE - Tyler Brayton/Charles Johnson
(FInally have goood linebacker depth)
LOLB - Thomas Davis, Eric Norwood
MLB - Jon Beason, JaMarr Williams
ROLB - James Anderson, Dan Conner
(This draft we concentrated on getting depth in the secondary)
CB - Chris Gamble
SS - Charles Godfrey
FS - Sherrod Martin
CB - RIchard Marshall/Captain Munnerlyn
K - Let's hope Kasay gets beat out so we don't waste a positon on a Kick-Off specialist
P - Jeff Baker
KR/PR - Armanti Edwards, Tyrelle Sutton
And now our schedule...
Week One - @NYG - Jumpout with a close victory at the new stadium
Week Two - TB - Easy victory
Week 3 - CIN - Win by 2 touchdowns
Week 4 - @NO - Win a late-game thriller against the World Champs
Week 5 - CHI - Win a tight, hard-fought, defensive battle
Week 7 - SF - Impressive win against an up-and-coming team
Week 8 - @STL - Blowout victory
Week 9 - NO - 1st loss, in a bad game for us
Week 10 - @TB - Rebound with a close victory over the Bucs on the road
Week 11 - BAL - Squeak out another hard-fought defensive battle
Week 12 - @CLE - Crush Delhomme for an easy "W"
Week 13 - @SEA - Unexpected slip-up on the road
Week 14 - ATL - Tough win
Week 15 - ARI - Get going with another win by 10 pts
Week 16 - @PIT - Get our 1st victory against Pittsburgh in a long time
Week 17 - @ATL - Lose this last one before we get a bye into the playoffs
I believe it is very reasonable and optimistic to believe that we can finish at 13-3 with a 1st-round bye and a relatively easy schedule. I believe Matt Moore will have a Pro Bowl year, and I also believe we make it through to the Super Bowl, where unfortunately we fall just short with a loss to the New York Jets.(Hate to say it, but I love what Rex Ryan is doing up there, and they're gonna be impossible to throw against with Revis, Cromartie, and Kyle Wilson)
But I believe this is building up to be what will be one of our more memorable years!! Come on Panthers!!
