Join the "Panthers in the Park" on Tuesday, May 4 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Charlotte's venerable Freedom Park (1900 East Boulevard). The free event is open to the public and will give fans an opportunity to meet more than 30 Panthers players as well as finalists for the 2010 TopCats cheerleading squad and team mascot Sir Purr.
Family-oriented activities, including the popular Play 60 Kids Combine, and a variety of contests will be offered. Live entertainment will be provided by Mick and the Ultras and members of the Panthers drum line.
Panthers players will sign autographs at designated stations, and fans are invited to bring their own items to be signed. In consideration of others, only one item per fan is requested. Team pictures will also be available for fans.
"There is always a great deal of excitement surrounding the Carolina Panthers' mini-camp. Panthers in the Park will provide fans the chance to meet many of their favorite players once mini-camp concludes this coming weekend as well as enjoy a fun, family-oriented event," said Riley Fields, the Carolina Panthers director of community relations.
After all the abuse we've gotten up the rear, I figured we could all enjoy a nice free event. This is your opportunity to meet your Panthers, and who knows? Clausen and the rooks might all be there.

LMFAO!
Thanks to the Denver Broncos, my sanity (what's left of it, at least) will remain intact for 2010.
You might as well just make it a picture of you.
With one of your creepy smiles you had when you were near the players. ;)
This entire offseason, I've been defending Clausen from critics. Now I got an even better reason to.

ARRRGG
Stuck in Charleston. Cannot wait for training camp in Spartanburg when I can check out the new guys.
If God came down on Christmas Day
I know exactly what He'd say
He'd say "Oi!" to the punks
and "Oi!" to the skins
but "Oi!" to the world and everybody wins.

Me too - I'm counting down the days

I'm going to find my way down there for a couple of days

I think that would be cool
We should seriously try and do that
