Short and sweet with this one, but I will give you lots to talk about.
With the draft over and some of our late round picks obviously stirring up some questions and controversy, what do you think the FO does next?
How do you thing the QB situation will play out with Moore, Clausen, Pike, and Cantwell? There is a issue here that I haven't seen anyone address. Where is the veteran to help these young guys improve? Do we need one?
Since we didn't pick up a DT in the draft (in fact we seemed to avoid it all together) do you think Haynesworth is in our future?
What are the UFA's that we should be looking at immediately? Oghobaase?
And finally what issues do you think we still need to address post-draft?
My answers after the jump
Personally I was pumped about Moore as our QB. I accepted the Clausen pick as the right thing to do and if nothing else he was insurance and at least better than Cantwell. At that point I fully expected to see them pick up Bulger or someone after the draft to help school these young guys and be a solid back up. Then Pike, WHA? Well now I'm not so sure the FO feels the same way I do about Moore. For now I'm going to have to trust em. Hope he stays.
Every pick after Edwards made me cringe. I was so entrenched in the idea we needed DLINE. Yes Hardy, but I can't help but wonder why not Cam Thomas in round four. Gotta figure they are totally ready to rock with what we have. Or maybe they are thinking about Haynesworth, I'd be okay with that.
Going along with the DLINE issue I couldn't get over I have to figure Oghobaase is coming to the Panthers. Can't remember what it is that would make him drop so far but he was someone I would have been okay with in the 6th or 7th. He's the only one I remember thinking about drafting that didn't get taken. Am I missing anyone?
