Daniel Te'o-Nesheim, DE Washington.
Ok, ok, I know what your saying......"who the hell is Daniel Te'o-Nesheim?". Well, I didn't know myself until a couple of days ago, but the more I look at the guy, the more I like him. High motor, smart, hard worker.......sounds like a Foxy guy to me. My question(s) to you all are, 1)Do you think we should draft him? 2)What pick would you use?
I would love to compare him to all of the defensive prospects in this years draft but unfortunately, I just don't have the time to do the research. (At a glance, he appears to fair well against most.) Instead, I have chosen to compare him to just one. This guy is a big, strong, freakish athlete who has apparently hired Don Draper as his marketing guru, given the way he has shot to the top of most teams boards. I am talking about Jason Pierre-Paul, DE South Florida. Pierre-Paul has a ton of upside but is currently as raw as sushi. He has one year of college football under his belt and has flashed some greatness. He can also do back flips like Mary Lou Retton. At this point, everyone that considers themselves a football fan has heard of Pierre-Paul and his athletic ability. Very few however, have probably heard of Te'o-Nesheim. Here are their stats. You decide.
P.S. I couldn't find Pierre-Paul's stats for the 3-cone drill and the 20 yard shuttle. Please feel free to add them if you can find them.
