Bryce Johnson, over on Sports Yapp 1150 and 1410 AM radio (you can also stream the show Monday through Friday online), had me on his show yesterday morning to discuss a number of things. Topics included the loss of Jake Delhomme, Matt Moore being our new QB, Tiger Woods not owing anyone but his family a DAMN thing, and -- yes -- American Idol.

Football is a business not a marriage
I really like Jake as a person and it is a sad day BUT it was something that needed to be done. Matt needs to be THE MAN to everyone on the team and releasing Jake solidifies that standing. With all the years Jake has been the QB it would have been a distraction for the veterans to get totally behind Matt. I LOVE the direction the Panthers are going! YOUTH is served!!!
