Uh-Oh Marshall Misses Workout
Maybe our 2nd round tender has upset Marshall? He was not present at the start of the offseason conditioning program. I hope that changes...

As do I.
Losing Marshall would do damage. Gamble didn’t live up to the hype last year coverage wise.
How do you figure?
He helped anchor a secondary that was one of the best in the NFL in limiting WR production.

Well neither of them was asked to play man all game long, so some of their success
should be contributed to the other components of our pass defense.
Do or do not. There is no try.
Jon Beason, #20 MLB in the NFL.
Count me unimpressed with their “ratings.”

No, you're right.
Beason’s a scrub and shouldn’t sniff the Pro Bowl, much less the All-Pro teams he’s been on in each of the last two years.

Glad to know I'm right..
About something I never even partially hinted at.
So, lets see why Beason gets knocked down to #20.. They rank his pass rushing very, very lowly, 48 of 54. Dansby was rock bottom as far as that goes. Coverage wise, 21 guys rank ahead of Beason. I love Beason but I could believe that, in the entire NFL, 21 other guys performed better in coverage than he. Against the run, he ranked 15th. One penalty also slightly drops his over-all.
So, despite the fact that my fandom and I would love to call Beason the best line backer in the NFL, I can see why he ranked behind 19 other guys. With some improved pass rushing, he’d likely rise to the top 10 pretty quickly.
Check out their OLB’s on all snaps and you’ll see that Thomas Davis ranked 6th with his limited snaps. While no system developed by human beings will ever be perfect, I don’t believe they have any particular reason to slight us.
I never said they did.
I said it’s a crappy system. Beason at #20 is proof enough for me.

Just to point out
They actually like Jake Delhomme. According to their system he’s not an awful QB.
Jake Delhomme, QB Carolina Panthers, 2003-2009.
120 TDs+16000+ passing yards=Good
89 INT's+27 lost fumbles=Bad
Most comeback wins since 2003=Priceless
