Around SBN: Nevin Shapiro Vows To Bring Down Miami

Congratulations, New Orleans Saints! - @ChrisHarrisNFL

277-408super_bowl_football

So yeah... the Super Bowl really was a good game, wasn't it?  Honestly, I was shocked by the game's outcome, because I didn't think the Colts would get beat by two touchdowns, but they did.

Star-divide

Even though I wanted the Colts to win, I'm happy for the Saints.  This win was not only huge for them as a team, but it's also a big score for New Orleans.  After all that city and team has been through and overcome, they deserve to be called "champions."

At the Super Bowl party I went to, I got to kick it with Thomas Davis, who seems to be doing pretty well as he comes off his recent surgery.  We watched the game, played some cards, and ate a ton of food - all in all, it was a good time.  BUT, of course, I don't plan on attending one of these parties in 2011.  Why? ...Because we'll be in Arlington, Texas doing our thing at Super Bowl XLV!

That sounds good to me Chris

I can see it now: Panthers in the Superbowl in Arlington, the NFL decides to continue it’s ‘aging rockers’ theme for the halftime show and Ted Nugent plays ‘Cat Scratch Fever’.

Perfect.

From a WhoDat in Japan

Thanks for the congratulations. Very gracious.

Now it’s on you guys to come take us down; don’t know if they Saints will be as hungry to repeat as they were to “peat.” But I know at least our QB will be ready. Hope Jake DelH gets it back; I miss watching his confident gunslingling.
