Warren Sapp Arrested; Pulled from SB Coverage
Former NFL star Warren Sapp has been released from jail on US$1,500 bond, a day after being arrested in Miami Beach on charges he choked a woman in his hotel room.
Sapp was charged with one count of misdemeanour domestic battery in the incident early Saturday after a night of partying. He was released at about 11 a.m. Sunday - a time he would have been assisting in the NFL Network's pre-Super Bowl coverage.
Bad timing to say the least...if there ever is a good time to be accused of choking a woman. I emphasize 'accused'.

I don't know about this one Jaxon.
Warren Sapp’s recount of the incident is that he was trying to help her up off of the couch and she ‘fell.’ That’s not a good excuse to give the police at all. Haha.
It’s a beard scratcher for sure. I’m not going to get into a bunch of guesswork right now, more of the story will probably come out after the Super Bowl. Warren’s best move right now is to just clam up and not say anymore about it. He got an attorney pretty early on, so there wasn’t a lot of damage control to be done. It’s a pity this has to happen a day before the Super Bowl. Warren Sapp is my most respected Raider ever.
