Super Bowl Sunday Should Be a Fun One! - @ChrisHarrisNFL

Super-bowl-party-chris_medium

I'm excited about tonight's Super Bowl, but -- then again -- I'm kinda not.  I wish I was playing in it, but there's only one happy team at the end of each season.  Even if you make it to the Super Bowl and lose, you still walk away from it feeling disappointed.

Star-divide

The reason I'm so pumped about this game is because I truly believe it might be one of the better Super Bowls we've seen in the past so-many-years.  I know, I know... last year's New England / New York game was one for the ages, but this one just might be able to top it, because both of these teams are absolute powerhouses.

As I mentioned yesterday, I'm picking Peyton Manning and his Colts to win it all.  Manning's been there before and understands what has to be done to come out on top.  Besides... if he can beat MEEEE, like he did in Super Bowl XLI when I was with the Bears, YOU KNOW he's gotta have at least a little bit of talent (HA!).

I plan on heading over to my buddy's house to watch the game.  Raymond Felton, point guard for the Bobcats, is having a party at his place, so my fiance and I are gonna head over there to have some fun, play a little cards, and check out the game.

Speaking of the Bobcats... I went to their game last night against the Hornets.  Even though they're playing some good ball right now, they fell short to New Orleans.  No worries, though -- they're gonna pick things up again and keep marching towards the playoffs (hopefully).  The guys on the team know how badly I want to be sitting courtside for some post-season action, so I don't think they'd do anything to let me down ;-)

Oh --- and P.S. --- what are you guys up to today???

Hey Chris

As excited I am for Super Bowl, it’s, like you said, bittersweet. I know it’s bound to be a good one but how awesome would the Panthers/Colts have been?? Anyways.. me and the lady are just hanging out at home making a lot of prerequisite Super Bowl Junk food and drinking lots of beer; low-key night for a game I have no favorite in.

I really am divided about who to win but when it comes to it, the Saints are our rivals for 16 games a season, can’t be hopping on their wagon as soon as we’re out of the picture. Peyton deserves a second ring to go with his ridiculous ability.

Hope you and everyone else have an awesome and safe night. And just remember, this time next year we’ll be suiting up to win our first Super Bowl.. GO PANTHERS

Every year 31 teams exit the season unhappy

The chance to be on top comes fleetingly and a team must seize the moment.

Go Panthers, Super Bowl 2011 Champs!

Crowd estimated to be 4 to 1 Saints fans

that will be huge because they are no wine-n-cheese crowd, they get rowdy and loud!

that’s just more of the crowd to be silenced every time Manning scores a TD

by EyeSack on Feb 7, 2010 2:36 PM EST up reply actions

Eh...

They won’t get there in huge numbers, though. They’re trying to go because NO in the SB is literally a once-in-a-lifetime event, but so many of those tickets are reserved for the corporate sponsors that the crowd is pretty much a non-factor.

That referee in the picture is definitely not holding the wings that we will be having tonite....

I actually have to wear gloves when I make them because once the diced up Habanero’s get on your hands it doesn’t wash off easily. Our wings are brutally hot. We like them that way, they go great with Beer and it’s also our symbolic way of “taking one for our team.”

I'd love for the Bobcats to stop flirting with an even record.

They’re playing some good ball, I agree. We’re just getting beat at the end of the game. We’re entering a good 3 game stretch though, so we can turn it around with a +2 wins over losses record going into our big game against the Cavs.

I’m having a couple of friends over at my house. This is going to be a good game! I’m missing my Panther football already!

Very nice

All it needs is a bar, but I’m assuming that’s in the back out of the picture. ;)

I’m not a big fan of Aqua Teen at all but this was pretty damn funny I thought. Talking about how the colts are gonna win. I especially like the shirt he’s wearing.

Carl… what are you doing? He needs to get back to working on Pep’s contract.
