Well if this whole Peppers situation don't just beat all. It seems like Carey has been trying to get Peppers out of Carolina all this time, even stooping to getting Peppers to publicly lie about being happy in Carolina after the season. Gantt reports this little blurb straight from the horse's mouth:

"We have felt for some time that Julius would have the opportunity to test the free agent market in 2010.  He has had a very accomplished career thus far; but he is convinced that with this move he will thrive and develop fully into the player he was destined to become.  He is excited about his future and looking forward to the process of selecting his next destination."

But now there is a leaked video floating around of Carey actually discussing plans for free agency with Peppers prior to the end of the regular season... check it out, after the jump.

I'll let you guess who is playing Peppers in this video and who is Carey. I think Sylvester does an accurate impression of the Panther organization when he slams the door on the big dog at the end of the clip.

What is actually even more hilarious about this clip and how it parallels the situation... in the full episode this clip is taken from, a Panther has gotten loose from the local Zoo, and ends up beating up the big dog (Spike) everywhere he goes to chase after Sylvester. Also... Sylvester is singing about Charleston, SC in the clip. Here is the full episode... poor video quality, but this is all i could find.
