Now the Boston Globe has done an article detailing similar claims with even more quotes from former teammates as well as scouts, one of whom suggests that signing Peppers to a big-money deal could "end up costing some personnel guy his job." The same scout fears that "if you pay this guy, I don’t think you’ll see a double-digit sack [season] again the rest of his career."
