Pro Day Schedule Announced
The one school I was curious about though is not on the list (Cinncinati). The fact I want the Panthers to select WR Mardy Gilyard almost guarantees he will not be a Panther as I can never guess what the Panthers will do. QB Tony Pike should draw a look from the Panthers as well.

We will select a WR with our first pick
With the Johnson signing which should greatly help us that means that my draft is now completely messed up as well. I would look for the Cardiac Cats to select in the second round WR:
More than likely I would rather have B. Lafell from LSU and I would trade up to get him b/c he is the most complete WR in the draft. I would let Moose walk unless he is willing to accept a 3rd down role with us for less than $1 mil this season plus he could help groom again Jarrett and really LaFell.
We could also get E. Decker but coming off an injury and not having great speed I seriously doubt that Decker goes in the second round.
Really Gilyard and LaFell should both not be selected until the second round, I just don’t honestly think that LaFell is a 1st round selection and alot of draft boards have him and Gilyard going 1 and 2 right as we pick in the draft.
Either way a WR is going to be selected by us in the second round.

LaFell, a complete receiver?
I don’t think so. He’s not gonna be the guy I send on a seven-yard in route when we need six for the first.

Why not?
He doesn’t have great speed, but he’s an aggressive receiver who maximizes YAC. Good hands, strong body, prototypical #2 with the upside to develop into a #1.

I've been pretty high on Arrelious Benn
He has a lot to work one, but he’s a seriously good blocking WR and at 6’2" uses his body really well.
He’d be a steal in the 2nd round.

I've seen most people peg him as a first round pick
but he could slide given how deep this draft is…the Panthers are going to have good talent to choose from with their first pick

He’s an intriguing pospect. Definitely a guy who the combine will mean everything to.

I have to agree with Smitty though
We need a speed guy…

Benn has great straight line speed, but his cuts leave alot to be desired.

Sleeper
I think we should invest a third round pick on Kelton Tindell (GOOGLE THAT!). Now I am a little bias cause he’s a fellow Indian from Newberry College. But 4.2 speed is 4.2 speed. Best 40 time 4.2 FLAT worst time is 4.28. Man you can’t beat that with a ball bat!

Yeah, we should definitely spend a second-day pick on a DII player.
LOL.

2/3/10: Newberry wide receiver Kelton Tindal had a poor practice. Tindal’s speed is legendary in scouting circles – he is expected to run the 40 in less than 4.3 seconds in upcoming workouts. His burst is remarkable and allows for easy separation from cornerbacks. However, he is extremely raw running routes – consistently losing his balance – and has been erratic catching the ball.

Still holding out for Jacoby Ford thanks. Lol

Ford in the 3rd or 4th would be a good pick I believe
why not get 2 WR’s?

Heck, why not?
He’d be a second rounder in any ordinary draft. I’d honestly be happy if we got one OL, and drafted the rest of our guys as WR’s, KR’s, and DT’s with as many draft picks as we have. ((Not much ^^;))

Perhaps Cincy didn't want to put up the cost of running their own Pro Day.
Maybe their players will show out at tOSU’s Friday 3/12 date.

Yeah...that happens a lot
But given they were Big East champs and have two major prospects it seems they would be big enough to hold one. They just may have not decided on a date yet

I hope we draft Gilyard
The kid is good. He would fit our need for a WR (he could assume the KR role as well).
