Every Day Is Valentine's Day For My Fiance and I - @ChrisHarrisNFL
Oh, man... this Valentine's Day -- or weekend, rather -- I was in Nashville packing boxes and moving furniture with Kenetria. She's moving out of her townhouse to come hang full-time in Charlotte with me. And -- really -- that's about all we did for the Holiday - nothing too festive for us.
Kenetria and I really aren't too big on Valentine's Day, because -- I dunno -- we already show each other how much we love each other throughout the entire year. So why have one special day to show a ton of affection when we do it 365 as is? I'm the kinda guy who periodically sends flowers to Kenetria and surprises her with cards for no particular reason at all - I just do it because I enjoy making her happy. I don't need a Holiday to tell me when to love my Kenetria. ...Know what I mean?
So, other than playing the moving game, we spent some time in front of the tv watching the NBA All-Star Game, enjoying each other's company, just as we always do.
P.S. That slam dunk competition was awful! There are high schoolers out there who can throw it down harder than those guys did. Am I the only one who feels that way?

I agree about the dunk contest Chris
It was horrible this year. I was so looking forward to it too with Gerald Wallace repping the Bobcats.
It’s pretty bad when the D-League dunk contest is better than the NBA one… maybe Vinceanity with right and they need to raise the rim to 11 ft.

I was disappointed in the dunk contest too
They need to get the superstars back in it. (The best dunk contest: LeBron, D-Wade, Vince Carter, Josh Smith, and Dwight Howard.)
Gerald Wallace looked like he would rather be watching tv than participating, and Shannon Brown did dunks that 8th graders do all the time.
And I don’t know about anyone else, but I’m getting tired of Nate “I’m too short to ride the good rides at Disney World” Robinson being in the dunk contest. He’s won 3 times already – let some one else participate.
Unless the NBA does something drastic, like set the ball on fire or get superstars to participate, the dunk contest is unfortunately dead.
That how i feel too
I think it’s the woman that must have that kind of thought too. U have a great woman, as i would do anything to have a woman that believes that Valentine day is not any special than Columbus day, just because someone said it was special shouldn’t make it special. Also i beleive it was probably someone’s anniversary and believed they are love gurus and then decided to make it universal. Thanks for Sharing this Chris. You’re my favorite DB in the whole league.

Not exactly.
It’s been celebrated by people the world over in honor of St. Valentine for over 1500 years.

btw nice work Chris!
I saw where you lead the league in forced fumbles in the last three years. There’s no doubt who the “hitman” truly is!
