Panthers RB Jonathan Stewart is once again seeing late season action as the starter and is finally getting cranked up. Stewart carried 21 times against the Seahawks and logged 92 yards (4.4 ypc) and a TD. He added a reception for 7 yds.

Stewart got off to a slow start this season and then battled a couple injuries, most recently a concussion. He looks to be about fully recovered as Stewart was breaking tackles and carrying defenders the entire game. In one particular play of note, he essentially threw LB Tatupu off of him for extra yardage. Stewart seemed determined to give his hometown crowd something of a how regardless of the score.

Congratulations to RB Jonathan Stewart the Panthers Sprint Game Ball of the Week Winner!
