We know how fond Mike Florio of ProfootballTalk is about our buddy Steve Smith. I'm not sure this is legit, or just more of Florio's quest to destroy Steve's career. I for one would not be terribly surprised if this turns out to be true. But Steve; good luck selling a $2M+ house in this economic climate.

Gantt just shed some light on the subject as well:

Smith’s house has been on the market for nearly a year. He’s moved at least twice since he’s been here.

Rules and Regulations of the Game: 89, Bottom Line

Good to know

I find it hilarious that Florio actually holds a grudge, and will do anything to slander him. He talks about his drop-off in production like his skills are diminishing. Maybe he can actually watch a game of ours for the first time in two years when we play PIT on Thursday night, and see for himself. I mean, looking at a box score is great and all, Mike…but…

In 2005, Steve Smith became the first player since Washington Redskins' receiver Art Monk in 1984 to lead the NFL in receptions for a team that ran more often than it passed. In Steve Smith we trust.

for what its worth ESPN Insider has a story up on Smith’s Future team..Saying he may not be with the panthers next season.

Let's play the "What if game"....

What if 89 putting his house on the market is an indication that he wants out of Carolina?? I know he has stressed before that he wants to retire a Panther, but if this was the situation, would ya’ll want to trade him?? To whom would we trade him to?? And what do ya’ll think we’d get for him??

by jkp1516 on Dec 17, 2010 11:29 AM EST reply actions

I hope like hell we don't trade him.

If we do, he would demand that the team have a chance to win in the next year or two (coincidentally, I think we have the same chance in the next year or two).

Uhh, like WAS, NE, PIT, MIA, IND, SD…drawing a blank on other teams he would want go to.

As far as the compensation, I’d expect a late first round pick. I think he’s still that good.

Even so, if IND offered a late first rounder for Smitty straight up, and I’m the GM…I say; Polian…go f@ck yourself.

The only way I trade Steve Smith is if I get a 1st and 2nd round pick out of the deal.

Even then, I’d have to seriously think about it before I pulled the trigger.

To answer that last one, little and none. His drop off in production and the average going rate for star WRs now would net us barely anything.

Mike Florio is a mule’s dick wrapped up in a crepe made out of dog shit and covered in vomit.

I can barely stomach the mere mention of his name.

Screw you, Mike Florio. I hope you contract a nasty STD from the verbal fellatio you constantly give to Tom Brady and the Patriots. That would make my day, you piece of dog shit.

My parents are veterinarians too.

So I might know what it smells like and not even be aware of it. XD

As an interesting side note, did you know that if you are performing a rectal exam on a rhino and it sneezes, it will break your arm.

Ooookkkaaayyy...

Let’s just say it was a doozy of a night…..There were whistles, whips, chains, yo-yo’s, a circus midget, a Bengal tiger, a 9-iron, a corn-fed harvest mouse….my grandmother, for crying out loud, a Depeche Mode album on repeat, and a duck.

I’m not proud of it, but I’ve come to accept the fact that it did indeed happen.

I call shenanigans...

There’s no way anyone would buy a Depeche Mode cd, so this can’t be true.
