TGIF Panther faithful! I'm here at the end of the week to suggest yet another brew to go with Sunday's game. Story-lines abound as the Carolina Panthers face the Arizona Cardinals in arguable their last 'winnable' game of the horror which has been the 2010 season. Despite this last shot at a W where a loss almost guarantees the Panthers the #1 overall pick in next April's draft there is an ulterior storyline that has been lost in the shuffle somewhat only to be punctuated by Jaxon is a post last night; I refer of course to John Fox's last game coaching the Carolina Panthers at Bank of America Stadium.
So let's send off Foxy with a good one... after the jump
Dogfish Head 60 minute IPA
The Brewery: Based out of Rehobeth Beach, Delaware the folks at Dogfish Head craft brewery are happy to go against the mainstream. They have been referred to as: "America's most interesting and adventurous small brewery" and after trying their brews you'll see why.
The Brew: This is a big, bold, unassuming IPA. It's hoppy as all gettup and bitter as it gets but also flavorful and fantastic. It's bready with a hint of caramel.
How it relates to the game: Not so much the game, but rather the final 60 minutes Fox will be coaching at BoA. The beer matches Fox's gameplans: Bold, uncompromising and not for everyone but regardless in the end you're left with a good taste in your mouth.
Where to buy: Some grocery stores carry 60 minute, but to be safe you best head to a wine/beer shop.
Price Point: $9-$11 per 6-pack
