Well fans, since our "franchise" (I use that term as lightly as possible) quarterback is now in the business of apologizing to our defense, rather than our offense (does not make sense, I agree with my boy Smitty here).. I think it's time you all jump off that train..  And let's start considering our what we do in the draft..

I know it's early, but speculation is fun, you know it, I know it, we all know it!! haha, but are we prepared to take the next elite player at his position in this draft...  Whether that be Andrew Luck, Pat Peterson, or AJ Green..

I prefer we take Luck, the closest thing to Peyton Manning we can find, dad is a former NFL quarterback, looks like a machine out there on the football field, and we know he is smart (Stanford Education)..

I feel like that's a forgone conclusion, but the question now is, who else do we look at taking in the 3rd, 4th rounds, and possibly 2nd if we can trade back...

WR - Jeff Maehl - Oregon.. Looks like a bigger Wes Welker.

DT - Marvin Austin - North Carolina - Stock could fall due to off-field troubles

Kendrick Ellis - Hampton - A former SEC-player, he a huuge guy at 6-5 and could get a big push in the middle and could easily be got in the 3rd-4th rounds

OL - Mike Puncey - Florida - Just like his twin, I believe he'll be a starter immediately, and could fall to the late 2nd-early 3rd

Stephen Schilling - Michigan - Another Big body from the Big Ten

John Moffit - Wisconsin - See above

CB - Aaron Williams - Texas - Doubt he makes it late in the 2nd, but he's going to be another good corner/safety from Texas

Curtis Brown - Texas - Another Texas kid, enough said.. Should last longer than Williams

Jimmy Smith - Colorado - A big physical corner, 6-2..

TE - DJ Williams - Arkansas - SEC talent

Lance Kendricks - Wisconsin - Can block, catch, what else can ya want..

Speculation is fun!!
